Why does my dog need a walker?

Making sure your dog gets plenty of exercise is one of the best ways to prevent behavior problems and ensure that they stay healthy and happy. At least two walks daily help prevent elimination problems, destructiveness, separation anxiety and other common behavior disorders. Of course, with today’s pace, it’s not easy to fulfill your dog’s needs every day. That’s where Love Ur Dog can help.

What services do you provide?

In my desire to ensure that your dog(s) gets the one on one attention that he/she deserves I provide private dog walks. Your beloved family member (s) will be picked up from your home and returned to you happy and most likely exhausted. I will greet your dog(s) at your place, provide fresh water and food if necessary, and bring him/her for a walk/run in a park or beach setting, depending on where you live. I also provide daily pet visits and overnight house-sitting services. If you are booking a Pet visit or overnight service you have the option of adding on a doggy bath and housecleaning, grocery shopping and laundry services. Where will my dog be walked?

During a private walk Your dog(s) will be getting exercise through one of the city’s many parks near your home and or White Rock or Crescent Beach, depending on where your home is located. During a private walk they can safely engage me in a round of Frisbee tossing or ball catching. Whether they remain on leash during a private walk is totally up to you as you know your dog’s behavioral patterns best. I will most definitely ensure that whether they are on or off leash they receive tons of love, affection, and cuddles from me.

What do I do if I want to book?

Because I mostly operate on a referral basis you probably will have heard of me thru a friend that has used my services or I may have met you in the park while walking one of my furry friends and given you a business card. Before I accept any bookings I like to carry out a free pet consultation. This gives you an opportunity to meet me and me to meet you and your pets. It will take about 30 minutes and I will go through details such as normal daily exercise, feeding requirements, fears, phobias and your special requests. This will allow me to provide the highest level of care in your absence. A spare key would be helpful.
